What MarketXLS does in Excel

MarketXLS is an add-in that adds financial-data functions to Excel (a Windows desktop add-in, plus a Microsoft 365 add-in for Excel on Mac and Excel for the web) and a Google Sheets add-on. You type formulas such as =Last("MSFT") for a quote, =QM_GetHistory("MSFT") for price history, or =PERatio("MSFT") for a fundamental, and the data fills the cell. The formula library has 1000+ functions covering quotes, history, fundamentals, options, technical indicators, and portfolio analysis. Stock quotes are 15-minute delayed on the Standard plan and real-time streaming on the Advanced and Business plans; see pricing.
