We are excited to announce the release of MarketXLS Version 9.3.4.5. Since the last release, we have worked hard to create a new update that will help customers in their investment tracking and analysis.

1. 35+ New Growth, Earnings & Profitability Functions
There have been many customer requests to add functions related to growth, earnings and profitability. We are thrilled to announce the addition of more than 35 new functions including:
Growth Functions:
=QoQGrowth("symbol","metric")— Quarter-on-quarter growth based on key fundamentals such as revenue, EPS, FCF and more.=YoYGrowth("symbol","metric")— Year-on-year growth based on key fundamentals.=SalesOneYearGrowth("Symbol")— How much a stock's sales have grown in a year.=EPSOneYearGrowth("MSFT")— Earnings per share one year growth.=RevenueThreeYearCAGR("msft")— Three year compound annual revenue growth rate.=DividendPerShareFiveYearCAGR("msft")— Five year dividend per share CAGR.
Scoring & Analysis Functions:
=AltmanZscore("Symbol")— Calculates the chances of whether a company will go bankrupt. The lower the score, the higher the possibility.=BeneishMscore("msft")— Beneish M-Score for detecting earnings manipulation.=PitrioskiFscore("msft")— Piotroski F-Score for financial strength assessment.
Other Useful Functions:
=IsOptionable("Symbol")— Whether options are traded on a stock or not.=DividendFrequency("msft")— How often dividends are paid.=Exchange("msft")— Which exchange a stock trades on.=inflation()— Current inflation rate.
You can access these functions by clicking on "Search and Help" on the MarketXLS menu bar. Simply search the function, copy and paste it in Excel, and change the stock symbol inside the parentheses.
2. Year-End Market Tracker Template
We have created a special year-end market tracker for you on Excel. The file showcases:
- 52-week highs, lows and returns for the Top 100 NASDAQ stocks, ETFs and Mutual Funds
- Individual tracking template (additional tab) showing Simple Moving Average, stock returns vs market returns, volume, charts and more — just change the stock ticker
- A powerful template for analyzing and comparing different stocks
3. Bug Fixes & Optimizations
We have made minor bug fixes and optimizations to better enhance your experience of investment research.

- Close Excel
- Go to Control Panel > Add and Remove Programs > MarketXLS > Uninstall
- Download the latest version from: marketxls.com/software
- Double click on the downloaded .msi file to install.
