3. New Spreadsheet Builder

We are happy to offer an automated way to create your initial MarketXLS starter spreadsheet. Choose your stocks (up to 40) and metrics, then click a button to generate a fully automated spreadsheet with formulas. The Spreadsheet Builder is located on the first tab of the MarketXLS menu.

4. Get Top Options

New functions to quickly find the most active options:

  • =TopOptionsByVolume("MSFT") — Returns options with highest volume
  • =TopOptionsByOpenInterest("MSFT") — Returns options with highest open interest

5. GetOptionChain Optimization

Option chain records differ for different stocks and ETFs. To help you recognize table boundaries, we added a blank row at the end. Press CTRL + Down arrow to quickly reach the table's end.

6. Streaming Off Button Optimization

The Streaming Off/On button now completely stops streaming when clicked. The spreadsheet keeps the last values but stops all background calculations, making spreadsheets with mixed streaming and non-streaming functions faster.

7. Historical Data on Weekends

The open, close, low and high functions previously returned #N/A on weekends. Now they return the value of the last working day before the weekend.

8. New Reverse Iron Condor Template

We have updated the Reverse Iron Condor Template with improved formatting and functions for a better user experience.

9. 100+ Pre-built Stock Screeners

We have added about 100 pre-built screens on the MarketXLS website. You can also access these inside Excel from the pre-built screener button under the screener tab.
