We are excited to announce the release of MarketXLS Version 9.3.4.8. This update includes many customer-requested changes including ThinkorSwim multileg strategies, new dividend functions, and an AI-powered portfolio optimization tool.

1. ThinkorSwim Single Leg and Multileg Functions
In this update we added 2 new ThinkorSwim functions:
=TradeMultiLegThinkOrSwim()— Configure multileg option strategies=TradeSingleLegThinkOrSwim()— Configure single leg trades
Different strategies involving single or multiple legs can be developed using these functions. You can check the inputs required in the Functions argument tab.
2. Track Financial Stability with Dividend Payout Functions
=ConsecutivePeriodOfIncreasingDividendPayout("msft","5y")
A consecutive period of increasing dividend payout means that a company has consistently increased the amount of dividends it pays out to its shareholders over a certain period of time, indicating profitability and stability.
=ConsecutivePeriodOfUninterruptedDividendPayout("msft","5y")
Tracks whether a company has consistently paid dividends without any interruption over a certain period. Use "Q" instead of "Y" for quarterly data.
3. StockReturn with Price and Total Returns
The =StockReturn() function has been updated to include both price returns (price appreciation) and total returns (price appreciation plus dividends).
Example: =StockReturnOneYear("MSFT","total") — calculates total returns of MSFT over the last year.
4. Split History
To obtain split history of stocks going back 20 years or more, use the new Split History function in the Utilities section.
5. Expiration and Strike Functions for ITM, OTM, and ATM Options
The Expirations and Strike functions now allow you to filter by option moneyness:
- ITM:
=Strikes("Stock","Expiration Date","in","call") - ATM:
=Strikes("Stock","Expiration Date","at","call") - OTM:
=Strikes("Stock","Expiration Date","out","call")
6. Weekend Closing Prices with Close_Historical
The =Close_Historical function has been enhanced to retrieve historical closing prices including weekends. Using "Yes" will always return the price of the last day when the market was open.
7. AI-Powered Portfolio Efficient Frontier Chart
Elevate your financial planning with this advanced portfolio optimization solution. The chart displays 6 different portfolios — conservative, moderate, balanced, growth, aggressive, and the R portfolio showing maximum return with existing volatility. AI and ML algorithms analyze market data to provide accurate information for informed investment decisions.
8. Options Profit Calculator
A new Options Profit Calculator tool has been added to the screener list for real-time users. Calculate potential profit or loss from options trading strategies considering underlying stock price, strike price, expiration date, and option premium.

- Go to Control Panel > Add and Remove Programs > MarketXLS > Uninstall

- Double click on the downloaded .msi file to install.
