MarketXLS tab is no longer there / MarketXLS disappeared from Menu
I opened Excel this morning and my MarketXLS tab is no longer there
This is a common issue that can occur after Windows or Office updates. Here's how to fix it:
Quick Fixes
1. Check if the Add-in is Disabled
- Open Excel
- Go to File → Options → Add-ins
- At the bottom, select COM Add-ins from the dropdown
- Click Go...
- Make sure MarketXLS is checked
- Click OK and restart Excel
2. Enable from Disabled Items
- Go to File → Options → Add-ins
- At the bottom, select Disabled Items from the dropdown
- Click Go...
- If MarketXLS appears, select it and click Enable
- Restart Excel
3. Check Trust Center Settings
- Go to File → Options → Trust Center
- Click Trust Center Settings
- Go to Add-ins tab
- Uncheck "Require Application Add-ins to be signed by Trusted Publisher"
- Restart Excel
If Above Steps Don't Work
Repair the Installation
- Close Excel completely
- Open Windows Control Panel
- Go to Programs and Features
- Find MarketXLS
- Click Change or Repair
- Follow the prompts to repair
Reinstall MarketXLS
